We are offering a Research Executive role within a dynamic agency environment that provides frequent new challenges and learning opportunities.

Role responsibilities

After undertaking a rounded training programme, your day to day work will cover all stages of the research process from the development of an appropriate methodology in response to a client’s brief, through to data collection, analysis and report writing.

You will be involved in all other stages of the research process, from the initial client enquiry right through to the production of the report.

The full range of research activities, both quantitative and qualitative will be undertaken to help deliver a diverse range of research and consultation projects for a wide variety of clients throughout the country.

Person Spec

You must be educated to degree level or equivalent and be seeking a career in research.

You must demonstrate an aptitude for report writing, critical analysis and problem solving, together with commensurate IT, organisational and presentational skills.

In addition, you will need to be enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated.

As the role will involve a mix of office and home-working, it is essential that you have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as within a team.

The ability to learn quickly will be advantageous and a full driving licence with a willingness to travel essential.

Qa Research is looking to recruit a key member of its Research Team.

The Role

An in-depth understanding of quantitative approaches/techniques and their application to meet the needs of clients is essential.  You’ll have a thorough understanding of how to analyse data using data tables and multi-variate outputs produced by our in-house and external data analysts. You’ll also have experience of leading on analysis and reporting based on quant data.

Depending on your level of experience, we need you to lead or work towards leading projects for some of our high-profile clients with minimum supervision and to work closely with the Research Team to ensure our quantitative offer always remains innovative and attractive to clients.To do this you’ll need the ability to manage multiple projects at once, have great inter-personal skills, a positive and inventive approach to research, demonstrable client relationship management experience and excellent written English as well as an engaging presenting style.

Ideally, you’ll have an excellent understanding of the role of qualitative in research projects and an interest in undertaking qual (depths interviews and/or focus groups) would be desirable, but is not essential.

You will be required to undertake occasional travel throughout the UK and you’ll need a full UK driving licence.

The Person

You may be seeking to move on or move up in your role. We’re looking for an experienced and confident quantitative research professional with at least 4 years’ experience, some of which will probably have been gained working for a similar agency.

The ideal candidate will be committed and adaptable, with a solid understanding of how to apply quantitative research in the right ways to meet the needs of clients. You’ll have experience of responding to briefs by writing proposals and all stages of project delivery including questionnaire writing, project management and working with data analysts to produce outputs so you can analyse quantitative data and produce reports/presentations.

You will hold a degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline and have outstanding written English skills that align with the need to write proposals and reports.  You’ll enjoy interpreting and drawing conclusions from numerical data and be motivated by creating and implementing research solutions, using research to generate insight to meet clients’ objectives.

A good sense of humour, resilience and honesty will underlie everything you do along with a professional demeanour and working style.
